The questions I ask come from a vision of how things could be: different, better, more fluid, and more beautiful. They come from a place that acknowledges the fear of scarcity—the kind that can knock the wind out of you if you’re not careful. But I also know that these fears are shared, and they should never be a reason to isolate ourselves from one another. For the most part, we are all well-intentioned people.
